When you become a Logicool Air Solutions Elite Member, our highly trained technicians will pay you a visit for a preliminary assessment, during which they will:

• Do an inventory of your system(s).
• Label all outdoor units.
• Label all indoor units.
• Label all thermostats.
• Identify filter sizes.
• Install a Drain Service Port, which will make your drain more accessible.
• Install a Drain Ball Valve, which will let us completely flush out your drain line.
• If applicable, connect a Common Wire to your thermostat, which provides constant power to the thermostat and prevents downtime caused by failed batteries.
  

Then, every time you have a regularly scheduled service, Logicool technicians will:

• Check refrigerant levels to make sure the system is operating at peak efficiency.
• Check coils for efficiency and any air flow problems.
• Clear out drain lines to make sure they’re draining properly, and not clogged with algae.
• Treat evaporator pans to prevent algae buildup.
• Wash out condenser coils, which will dramatically extend coil life.
• Clear debris from inside outdoor units to prevent water retention, corrosion, and rust.
• Wax your outdoor units to minimize oxidation and extend cabinet life. 
• Treat outdoor electrical control panels with electrical insecticide to keep away ants and the lizards, frogs, and snakes that eat them.
• Check electrical connections and wires to make sure they’re intact, and prevent future failure.
• Test all electrical components to make sure they’re functioning properly.
• Inspect your ducting for air leakage and proper design to make sure you’re getting the full benefit of your HVAC system.
• Test cooling and heating operations to make sure they’re working properly.
• Inspect for refrigerant leaks to prevent system failure.
